Delete your PlatoFit account

Fastest: in the app

Open PlatoFit and go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email support@platofit.app with the subject "Delete my PlatoFit account". Send it from the email address you sign in with (your Google or Apple email; if you chose "Hide my email" with Apple, tell us the relay address). We may reply to that address to confirm it's you, and we delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner. We'll tell you when it's done.

What is deleted

Your account, sign-in methods and email address.
Everything synced to your account: workouts and sets, custom exercises, foods and diary entries, staple meals, programs, weight, water and sleep you typed in, badges, goals, settings and the record of your consent.
Your votes and reports on community foods.

What is kept

Foods you shared with the community stay available to others, without any link to you.
Totals in our usage statistics (they never contained your individual entries).
Copies in our database provider's backups disappear on their normal schedule (at most a few weeks).
Data on your phone stays until you delete the app. Apple Health / Health Connect data is never ours: manage it in those apps.
